- Went to each builders' display house and watch closely for the quality of their display house. If they don't really care to put a high quality display house, then quality of your future house wouldn't be much different from it...
- Asked for a rough sales quotation based on the engineering plan for the block. (Make sure the site cost and the estate covenant are included!)
- List all the inclusion and the current promotion that they currently have (if any)
- Find out whether your CSC is helpful and give you some advise by asking them a few question. This will determine your first impression of the builder
- Make sure the sales quotation is still within your budget!
The winner that catch our attention is..................
Galley 23 from PLACES HOMES
A few reason why we chose to go ahead with this builder as follows: open space floor plan, fixed site cost, pretty good display house & inclusion and pretty good customer service too (so far!)...
Finally, on the 31st of August 2008, we went to the Places Homes office to put down $1k deposit and signed a few document (all inclusion list, fixed price cost document, etc etc)
Here is Galley 23 floor plan
Here is Galley 28 display house
(Galley 28 is the bigger version of Galley 23)
